My favorite band: Taylor Swift

My favorite movie: All of the Despicable Me movies

The most fun part about my job is: Learning alongside the children and showing them that it is OK to still be learning as an adult.

My favorite restaurant: Qdoba

The most meaningful part of my job is: Watching the kids grow/learn, and sharing my love of art and science and the outdoors with them.

My favorite way to relax: Reading

My favorite holiday: 4th of July

The biggest lesson I’ve learned while working at the Y is: How to always be flexible in any situation and to think outside the box when problems arise in order to find the best possible solution.

Stacie Hoffman is living our cause
Name: Stacie Hoffman

My job at the Y is: Business Office Manager

How long have you worked for the Y? 12 years, 9 years with the YMCA of Boulder Valley

I work for the Y because: Every day the organization seeks to identify the varying needs of individuals and families, and in response, strives to deliver positive solutions and change in our community. The Y’s vast outreach and service affects so many people, in so many different ways — from assisting an individual in achieving a healthy lifestyle to developing the potential of our youth. In everything we do, we are helping to build a stronger community.

My pets: 21 lb pure white Maine coon cat.

The most meaningful part of my job is: Knowing that my contributions will have a direct impact on those we serve. The most rewarding part of my job is communicating with and assisting families.

Favorite color: I love color and love them all!

The biggest lesson I’ve learned while working at the Y: Our strength lies in our community, and through working together we can achieve great things.

Favorite holiday: Christmas.
