YMCA CAMP SANTA MARIA PARTNERS

At YMCA Camp Santa Maria, we believe all children deserve the opportunity to go to camp, and we believe nature can build community, nurture family bonds and heal. That’s why we partner with local organizations to spread the life-changing power of camp to children, families and adults who need it most. For each of these partner organizations, we provide either weekends dedicated to their families and mission or we provide financial assistance to help the children in their programs attend camp throughout the summer.

Transgender Youth Education and Support

TYES empowers and supports families and caregivers of gender expansive youth by providing resources, education, outreach, and advocacy, in order to create supportive environments that allow youth to experience the joy of authenticity.

Intercambio

Intercambio provides English language education, resources and training that create meaningful connections,  build cultural awareness and inspire confidence.

Sharon’s Kids

This a small community group based in the Western Slopes of Colorado. We work specifically with a generous and philanthropic community member to bring children from their community to Camp Santa Maria for a summer like never before!

Emergency Family Assistance Association

The Emergency Family Assistance Association helps those in our community whose immediate needs for food, shelter and other basic necessities cannot be adequately met by other means, and supports their efforts toward financial stability or self-sufficiency.

Nature Kids/Jóvenes de la Naturaleza Lafayette (NKJN)

NKJN is also building parks and trails to ensure all Lafayette youth live within a safe 10-minute walk to nature.
