The YMCA invented basketball. In fact, the first game was played in 1891 in a YMCA gym thanks to the imagination of James Naismith, a Y PE teacher.

Peak Hoops League (Ages 11-14)

We’ve heard your feedback, and we are upping our game! The new Peak Hoops League is replacing our Black & Gold League, offering older players more gym time, more practices and improved refereeing. The Peak Hoops League offers a more comprehensive experience for athletes with supplemental training opportunities designed to give all players the preparation they need to play basketball at the next level. Teams will practice for two hours weekly and have the option to add up to four additional Sunday practices throughout the season.
