CAMP NOCO

BOULDER  VALLEY

Join the Y this summer for a safe, enriching licensed day camp program. Campers will make tons of friends, disconnect from technology and thrive in a welcoming community. Based on CDC guidelines as well as local and state restrictions, this summer’s modified camp programs will focus on helping kids unplug, try new activities, learn new skills, enjoy tons of physical activity and bond with friends (yes, socially distanced bonds). Because we are not offering most of our specialty camps this summer, we will include aspects of our sports, STEAM and outdoor education camps into this well-rounded traditional day camp. Activities include camp songs and cheers, archery, sports and games, science fun, arts, crafts and humanities, and much more! Enthusiastic and well-trained staff will ensure a safe, healthy and super fun summer.

Part-time and full-time options available. All campers will be divided into small groups. We are required to maintain small group sizes, so space is limited.

We have received approval from our local Department of Public Health that we may offer swimming for our enrolled day camp kids. We will swim in small groups throughout the week. We ask that parents pack a swimsuit and towel (no towels will be provided) daily, as water play in the sprinkler or splash pad will also be available throughout the week.

The precautions we are taking to protect your family during COVID-19:

  • Only curbside (outdoor) pick-up and drop-off will be permitted to limit the number of people entering the buildings. All parents must wear masks during drop-off and pick-up. It is very important that you allow additional time for drop-off every morning to allow for wellness checks.
  • We will do wellness checks for all children at sign-in. A parent must sign off on symptoms within the last 48 hours. All campers will have their temperature recorded upon entry into the building. If a child has a temperature at or above 100.4 degrees or shows any signs or symptoms, per the local Department of Public Health, they will not be able to remain at camp and may be asked to quarantine before returning to camp.
  • Staff members are required to wear masks, per CDC guidelines, and children under 12 are recommended — but not required — to wear masks while at camp. Children 12 and up are required to wear masks.
  • Our staff members are doing frequent cleaning and disinfecting of all spaces and objects that are used during camp.
  • We will be on heightened alert for symptoms and enacting a more stringent sick policy to avoid having sick children or children with potential contagious symptoms in the program.
  • Campers will be kept in smaller groups spread out in more program areas to reduce proximity with others.
  • Increased frequency of hand-washing for staff and children throughout the day.
  • Please send your child with a refillable water bottle daily as the drinking fountains will not be permitted.

Registration System

Register for summer camps online. If you create a new account in our online registration system using a different email address than what is on file with the Y, you will create a duplicate account and if you’re a member, you will not receive member rates.

Financial Assistance

Y financial assistance participants may register online after their financial assistance has been approved. CCAP participants may not register online but must use the online ePACT system for required medical and emergency contact information and policy agreements. CCAP participants must attend all days they are registered for. CCAP participants will be billed for unexcused absences.

Paper registration forms are available for CCAP participants and upon request. Contact the Business Office.

Financial Assistance

ePACT

The YMCA of Northern Colorado uses ePACT, a secure emergency network that we use to collect medical and emergency contact information for camps, preschool and before and after school care. Once you’re set up in ePACT, you will only need to verify your child’s information once a year.
