JOHNSTOWN AREA CAMPS

Y Achievers, YMCA Camp Noco & Teen Camp

The Y has been helping kids foster creativity, develop new interests and gain independence throughout Boulder, Broomfield and parts of Weld counties for decades. And we are thrilled to bring summer day camp to the Johnstown area for the first time. We have worked with school administration to develop programs that meet the needs of local families. This new program is part of the Y’s northern expansion, as we open the Johnstown Community YMCA in 2020 and begin to offer programs in your community. Be prepared for even more Y offerings this year and beyond. Students from all schools welcome!

Achievers Camp (Entering K-5th Grade)

Achievers offers children in need of extra academic support in the summer an opportunity to prevent summer learning loss, make friends and develop mentors. Monday-Thursday, participants will be empowered through morning lessons that focus on coding, writing or Kindergarten Bootcamp, which will prepare little ones for their first day of school. On Fridays, coding and creative writing campers will enjoy traditional camp activities such as archery, sports, crafts and more; Kindergarten Bootcamp does not run on Fridays. Need extended hours for your camp day? Achievers All In ensures kids have a full-day of fun!

Achievers Camp does not include pre- or post-camp hours. Campers must select a subject for each week, Mon-Thu: coding, creative writing or Kindergarten Bootcamp. We’ll tackle new lessons each week, so feel free to mix and match subjects or take the same one every week.
