CLOSURE UPDATE: Per mandate from Governor Polis, and because it is the right thing to do, our facilities are closed. Check here for COVID-19 updates. We are running licensed summer camps beginning June 1.

EMERGENCY CHILDCARE

With the support and assistance of Boulder County, local public health officials, and the state of Colorado, the Y is offering full-day childcare for anyone who needs it.

While the CDHS (Colorado Department of Public Health) previously asked childcare providers to solely offer care for essential workers, they have updated their recommendation. Under the statewide public health order, existing child care providers may continue to care for families whether they are included in the “critical business section” or not. The choice to continue to serve any family is up to each provider

Contact us if you have any questions.

  • Preschool Care: 720-652-4720
  • K-5th Grade Care: 303-443-4474 ext. 4401

During this program, kids will enjoy arts, crafts, fun and games, movies and supervision from experienced, expert Y staff. We will take extraordinary precautions: kids will sanitize hands upon arrival and throughout the day, our staff and registered nurses will monitor children and look for symptoms of COVID-19 and our facilities will be cleaned using hospital grade virucide as well as SteriPlex, an EPA-approved disinfect.

Lunch is provided at the Longmont Y for preschool and K-5th care. Children should bring a nonperishable lunch to the Mapleton Y. We will open K-5th care at the Arapahoe Y in Lafayette if there is a need. Please inquire about this option by calling 303-443-4474 ext. 4401.
