YOUTH FITNESS

Youth Sports Conditioning (Ages 12-17)

Youth Sports Conditioning is a great class for athletes and non-athletes alike! In this youth-focused class, you will perform exercises to enhance neuromotor skills like power, agility, speed, balance, quickness and strength. Training like an athlete will help you enhance your performance on the slopes, field, court and life. Reservations required; limited spaces are available. Reservations may be made up to 48 hours in advance at ymcanoco.org/schedules or on the YMCA of Boulder Valley app. Members only.

The competition is about to get hot! The YMCA of Northern Colorado’s Fighting Jalapenos Youth Triathlon Squad is a new program designed for young athletes who are ready to learn, to work hard and compete in the sport of triathlon.

Increase physical fitness, coordination, confidence, discipline, concentration and knowledge of self-defense skills with Shotokan Traditional Japanese Karate at the Mapleton Y. For ages 8+.

La Familia Boxing (Ages 8-16)

Hosted at the Longmont Y, La Familia Boxing teaches kids and teens commitment, dedication, discipline, honor and respect through the sport of boxing. Both boys and girls are welcome to join this program at the Longmont Y to discover a hard-hitting sport that can change lives. Hand wraps are needed to participate.

Private Basketball Coaching

Grow your game with one-on-one basketball coaching. Your child can take his or her game to the next level with a highly experienced Y Certified Coach. Trainings are offered year-round.
