Located inside our new Johnstown Community YMCA in Johnstown, Colorado, YMCA Inspire Preschool serves children between 2 1/2-years-old (must be at least 2 years and 6 months of age by start date) and 6-years-old. Our year-round preschool will provide part-time and full-time options.
Inspire Preschool in Johnstown will utilize a curriculum focused on exploration and individualized learning experiences and provide a wide variety of indoor and outdoor play opportunities. Our brand-new preschool will offer sunny classrooms and outdoor playgrounds, and our students will enjoy playing in the Y’s gym, outdoor sports fields and pool.
All enrolled preschool families will receive a free family membership to the Y! Contact the Business Office after you have enrolled in preschool to apply for your free membership. Please note, when you re-enroll for preschool for a new school year, you will need to reapply for your membership.
Our Preschool participates with Universal Preschool (UPK) Colorado. We are a UPK Provider with limited slots. Universal Preschool Colorado was created in statute under HB 22-1295. The Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) will launch UPK Colorado in the 2023-24 school year, offering a minimum of part-time (10 hours per week) or half-day (15 hours per week) of high-quality, voluntary preschool to every Colorado child in the year before they are eligible to enter kindergarten. UPK Colorado eligibility is independent of a child’s eligibility for CCAP, Head Start, or local preschool program funding, so families may layer these hours on top of their UPK allocation.

Tuition
Registration is based on continuous enrollment. Registering on a month-to-month basis does not guarantee your child a spot in preschool.

PARENT RESOURCES
There is an annual $95 non-refundable registration fee per child. Our registration system will not allow you to enroll until you’ve paid this fee. The registration fee is good for the school year.
