Cardio & Strength Drop-in Classes

Warning: These classes cause sweating! Join us for one of our heart-pumping, endurance-building, sweat-soaking group fitness classes, and push yourself and your fitness to a whole new level.

Class Schedule

500Cal Boot Camp 

This class is very similar to Boot Camp with the goal of burning 500 calories each class. The class meet in the gym or on the turf field depending on the weather.

Boot Camp 

This is a challenging, highly structured, athletic-based class with no choreography involved. The class incorporates plyometric training and physical military moves.

Cardio Sculpt 

You will use a variety of different props (balls, bands, BOSU, dumbbells) to do intervals of cardio. This class will keep your heart rate up, build strength and challenge every muscle group.

Condition Together

Condition Together integrates strength and cardio training to build muscle, burn calories, and improve agility. Revolutionize your whole body using Loaded Movement Training in this three-dimensional experience. Dynamic music drivees the energetic 30-minute workout with athletic movements and phases of high-intensity interval training. Train the way the body was designed to move Condition Together. IT’S LOADED!!

Fit After 50 

This class focuses on flexibility, incorporating gentle yoga, and emphasizes strength and balance. Strength training equipment includes free weights and resistance balls.

Functional Strength Training 

A class for those that would like to strengthen, define and sculpt their physique. Work out with a personal trainer in a small group setting (maximum of 6 participants). This is a progressive program that will also focus on muscle imbalances and flexibility using a variety of techniques making your workouts fun, effective and time efficient.


High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T.) This class includes plyometric drills, strength, power, resistance and abs/core training moves.

HIIT the Floor

This class utilizes a variety of techniques and equipment to get your heart rate pumping. Expect to use the track, rowers, bikes, kettlebells and more. On top of that, a variety of weight-room equipment will be used to build your musculoskeletal strength and endurance. This is an AMAZING workout you won’t want to miss.

Les Mill Bodypump 

BODYPUMP™ is for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP™ gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 590 calories*. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.

Les Mills Bodypump Express 

All of the great moves and music that you have come to expect in a Les Mills Body Pump class - but in a routine that uses combinations of body parts for added intensity. This class will have you in and out in 45 minutes!

Power Punch Parkinson’s 

Give Parkinson’s the good ole’ one-two by stepping in the ring for some non-contact boxing! We promise that you will leave feeling empowered! Power Punch Parkinson’s is Colorado’s first non-contact boxing program for people with Parkinson’s disease. Our classes have a unique partnership of expert boxing instructors from the Y with physical therapists from Life Care Center of Longmont. Recent physical therapy research has shown boxing to be effective in improving balance, mobility and quality of life. Our classes are fun, energetic and individualized to your abilities. Hand wraps and gloves provided. Free to members. Non-members may attend with guest fee. 


Resistance, Interval, Power, Plyometric, Endurance, Diet: set to jamming music with easy to follow routines. It’s a time-efficient one stop body shock system-a total body workout with a variety of formats within each session. 

Running Club 

This class will introduce members to various styles of running, including intervals, fartlek runs, tempos, and speed work. It also contains a brief classroom portion to dispel the mystery behind running form, nutrition, stretching, shoes, and other aspects of the sport, followed by a workout that will tone the whole body while stimulating the cardiovascular system. 


Anything goes in this class. You will use a variety of different props (balls, bands, BOSU, dumb bells) to keep your heart rate up, build strength, and challenge every muscle group.

Sculpt & Stretch 

This Active Older Adults class uses weights, bands, bars, balls and steps to challenge the whole body.

Skate Fitness 

Skate Fitness focuses on building skating skills, endurance, speed, and power for both hockey players and figure skaters. The class focuses on edges, quick turns, power pulls, lunges, squats, crossovers, and forward and backwards drills. It's a great workout and a perfect way to improve your skating whether you are new to the sport or a veteran. Please note skaters must be capable of stopping and is recommended that skaters can skate backwards. Ages 13+. Check the Arapahoe Y ice schedule for class.

Sports Conditioning 

Plyometric, agility, strength and cardio conditioning to help you enhance your performance on the slopes, field, or court.


A full body workout focused on strength training. Using barbells, dumbbells, (the heavy ones) Kettlebells, and Body weight. To build a stronger you.

Total Body Conditioning 

Tone and strengthen muscle using lunges, squats, crunches, balls, resistance tubes, dumbbells and more in this workout. You will get a full body exercise leaving no muscles out.

Women on Weights I 

You will learn varied training principles, a focus on core, hip and shoulder stability training, cross training and the principles of moderate to high intensity training. The entire body will be trained during each workout.

Women on Weights II 

This class is designed for women who have completed Women on Weights I. We will continue to focus on exercises and training addressed in WOW but will add to our training experience by continuing to work on fundamental movements while introducing new exercises along with working to increase weight and track progress. 

Y Pump 

Come try a muscle strength and endurance workout like you’ve never felt before. Use a 3 pound barbell that you can add any weight to for an intense full body workout.


Encounter a different treadmill and strength workout every time you come to the Y. In an environment that allows for a lot of oversight and personalization, you will get a well-rounded workout that utilizes steady-state, intervals, speed and hills along with excellent strength work. Cardio? Weights? Check, check. You will get it all done in one hour in this class. 

TRX 30 

Born in the US Navy SEALS, TRX® Suspension Training is a method of leveraged bodyweight exercise. Perform hundreds of exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility and prevent injuries. This is higher intensity 30 minute class format.

TRX 45 

Born in the US Navy SEALS, TRX® Suspension Training is a method of leveraged bodyweight exercise. Perform hundreds of exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility and prevent injuries. Class Format 45 minutes.


Born in the US Navy SEALS, TRX® Suspension Training is a method of leveraged bodyweight exercise. Perform hundreds of exercises that build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility and prevent injuries. 60 minute format.

TRX Circuit 

A performance training tool that leverages gravity and your body weight to enable hundreds of exercises. The exercises simultaneously develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. Get a fast, effective total body workout. This class will benefit people of all fitness levels and abilities
