For ages 5-9 years old. Skating experience is recommended but not required; the Y offers a Learn to Skate Hockey program that will prepare your future hockey player for Mile High Mites.

  • One on-ice session will include Colorado Avalanche Alumni members, Milan Hejduk or John-Michael Liles, to teach the game and educate the players, coaches and parents (subject to Colorado Avalanche Alumni availability)
  • The program is available for players that are not currently rostered on a team and registration is based on that criteria. All player eligibility is subject to review and spots are not guaranteed until your player has been cleared by USA Hockey, CAHA and the Colorado Avalanche.
