PREPARE TEENS FOR A LIFETIME OF SAFE DRIVING

The YMCA partners with TopCops Driving School. Learn to drive from current and retired Police Officers the same way they prepare their cadets. Six hours of behind the wheel training and a drive test is required by the State of Colorado for teens to get their license at 16 years old. Your teen can start the drivers education program at 14 years, 6 months.

We have in-person and online classroom offerings for the 30 hours of required class time. We have flexible scheduling, so you can pick and choose the 4 classroom sessions from any of TopCop’s offerings.

Dr. Melinda Groom, retired Boulder Valley School District principal, is available to provide IEP and 504 accommodations as an administrator on the permit test.
