Boulder Y construction: Updates and modified hours here.

The YMCA of Northern Colorado is a powerful association of men, women, and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurture the potential of youth, promote healthy living, and foster a sense of social responsibility.

The YMCA of Northern Colorado is a nonprofit organization that strengthens the foundations of community. We do that through programs that focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

More than 50,000 youth, families and adults from all walks of life are served annually by the YMCA of Northern Colorado. Our facilities include the Boulder Y, Longmont Y, Lafayette Y, Johnstown Y and Camp Santa Maria overnight camp in Bailey, CO. Our reach also includes numerous after-school and summer camp sites, swimming pools and countless sports fields and gyms.

One in three members and participants access YMCA offerings with the help of financial assistance.

Youth Development

We believe that all kids deserve the opportunities to discover who they are and what they can achieve. That’s why, through the Y, youth today are cultivating the values, skills and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health and educational achievement. Check out our before- and after-school programs, youth enrichment classes, summer camp and more!

Healthy Living

We are improving the nation’s health and well-being. The Y brings families closer together, encourages good health and fosters connections through fitness, sports, fun and shared interests.

Social Responsibility

We give back and provide support to our neighbors. The Y has been listening and responding to our communities’ most critical needs for more than 170 years. Whether developing skills or emotional well-being, welcoming and connecting diverse populations or advocating for healthier communities, the Y fosters the care and respect all people need and deserve.

Why We Love the Y

An Organization For All

One in three of our members and program participants receive financial assistance to access Y programs. That’s thousands of campers, preschoolers, after-school program participants, young athletes, middle school students and swimmers.

This puts us in a unique position to have an incredible influence on the lives of younger people, from preschoolers to high schoolers. At the Y, we work diligently to provide a level playing field — literally and figuratively — for today's youth, ensuring that all kids have the resources and support to grow and thrive.
