Memorial Day Hours
The YMCA of Northern Colorado provides youth soccer programs that build confidence, celebrate passion and develop skills. No matter the age or skill level, we offer smile-inspiring soccer leagues, clinics, learn to play programs and scrimmage programs throughout Boulder County that are designed to support players at every developmental level.
If your little one is just beginning to enjoy and understand team sports, YMCA Learn to Play Soccer is an ideal introduction to soccer — focusing on skills, rules and mechanics and basics like listening to coaches and being a good teammate. Our leagues give players exposure to competition as they continue to grow as a soccer player, athlete and person; players develop their ball handling, shooting and footwork while focusing on sportsmanship, teamwork and fair play. Clinics and Scrimmage & Skills programs help participants refine their skills in a sport they love.
The Y also offers soccer in Weld and Larimer counties.
The Y has run youth soccer programs in the Boulder area for decades, giving children and teens a progressive soccer experience. Today, thousands — yes, thousands — of kids in Boulder, Superior and Lafayette learn the joys of soccer, enjoy the support of a team and soak in the mentorship of their coaches.
It’s what we do, and it what sets us apart.
Here’s what also sets YMCA soccer programs apart: The Y Way to Play is our sports philosophy, guiding everything from coach training to parent interactions to refereeing. We believe youth sports can have a lifelong impact on our players, so we work to foster sportsmanship and create community while offering programs that focus on progressive competition and skill development for all.
And then there’s fun.
We believe the key to getting young people passionate about sports and staying active is making the experience both fun and foundational. There will be games. There will be high fives. There will be giggles.
Have questions? We have answers! From rosters and team sizes to registration fees and weather policies, we’ve compiled parent’s most frequently asked questions and important information to help prepare you for this season.
