Option 1: Mountain Adventure Pathfinders Camp - 6 days, 5 nights
Session 1 (June 2-7), Session 2 (June 9-14), Session 6 (July 7-12), Session 10 (Aug 4-9)
During Mountain Adventure Pathfinders Camp, campers will make memories of a lifetime as they spend their week climbing, mountain biking, hiking and more! This traditional camp experience also includes swimming in the pool, time at the archery range, enjoying kayaks and SUPs on the lake as well as other classics such as tie-dye, gaga ball and NASA GLOBE Goes to Camp activities. Weather permitting, campers can expect a s'mores sneakout and an evening session of astronomy. With the support of their Santa Maria community, campers can expect to be pushed out of their comfort zone as they develop their sense of independence. Campers will also join in classic traditions, including Breakfast of Champions, Battle for the Paddle, opening and closing campfires and a bead ceremony.
Option 2: Waterfront Pathfinders Camp - 6 days, 5 nights
Session 3 (June 16-21), Session 4 (June 23-28), Session 7 (July 14-19),
Session 8 (July 21-26), Session 9 (July 28-Aug 2)
During Waterfront Pathfinders Camp, campers will build on the foundational skills of canoeing, paddleboarding, and kayaking. They will also refine their techniques on the water as they build their confidence! Pathfinders will enjoy classic camp activities such as Leave no Trace and hiking, archery, tie-dye, gaga ball and NASA GLOBE Goes to Camp activities in addition to time spent soaking in the pool. Weather permitting, campers can look forward to a s'mores sneakout and an evening astronomy session. As Pathfinders spend time with friends new and old, they join in on camp traditions, including Breakfast of Champions, opening and closing campfires, Battle for the Paddle and a bead ceremony. They will leave YMCA Camp Santa Maria with a sense of independence and resilience.
