YMCA After School Care sets out to give kids both smile-inspiring escapades and foundational experiences that help them grow. Whether it’s exploring science concepts, enjoying outdoor playtime or creating art projects, the Y provides a safe, supportive environment that focuses on learning, developing interests and making friends. This year, we’ve teamed up with Pop Culture Hero Coalition to offer a fun and innovative curriculum focused on social and emotional learning. Participants also enjoy homework help, health and wellness activities, swim time, STEAM, sports and games.
Our before and after school programs are held at the Cheyenne Family YMCA.
Before and After School Care
Care before school starting at 7:00am and after school until 6:00pm with transportation included.

- $50 annual registration fee ($10 for DFS)
Before School Care Only
Includes full-time before school care.
- $155 per month
- $50 annual registration fee ($10 for DFS)
After School Care Only
Includes full-time after school care. Early release days included.

We provide care from 7:00am to the start of the school day and from the end of the school day until 6:00pm.
BONUS! Families that sign up for childcare receive a free YMCA Family membership.
Note: The Y follows the Laramie County District 1 calendar for all School Day Off Camps.
Care begins August 25th, 2025 and ends June 3rd, 2026
Transportation is provided to and from the following schools. Bus space is limited.
Students from other schools may attend before and after school care but transportation is not provided.
Drop-in Care
Does your family occasionally need before and/or after school care? The Y can help. We offer drop-in care for children who do not require regular part-time or full-time care. Find options below and register.
- $42 per day (includes before and after care)

NEW THIS YEAR:
We are using a new platform for emergency medical information, medication information and waivers.
Once registered, you will be sent login information from CampDoc to provide us with your emergency and medical information. This profile must be completed 2 weeks prior to your child attending camp. Some medication administration will need additional time to work with our nurse and train staff.
